Tracey Garrett gained her qualification from The Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University, and she is a professor in the Department of Teacher Education at New Jersey's Rider University. Dr. Garrett is the author of Effective Classroom Management: The Essentials, recently published by Teachers College Press. Tracey recently won the University Distinguished Teaching award and has presented at regional as well as national conferences such as the American Educational Research Association, Learning Forward and the National Council for Teachers of English.
